AMHS Training and Consultancy
Galadrium provides training on the AMHS Specifications and the underlying X.400 and X.500 technologies.
The training can be one of our standard AMHS, X.400 and X.500 courses, or it can be tailored to the requirements of the customer.
With decades of experience in the relevant fields, the training can facilitate the understanding of these legacy technologies and their use in current aviation deployments.
The training objectives can be multiple: from understanding the X.400 and X.500 technologies for existing AMHS deployments, to evaluating the development of software that complies with AMHS regulations.
Taking as a reference the EUR AMHS COM Centre Training Guidelines (EUR DOC 026), Galadrium can provide, for example, Common AMHS general training (C.2), AMHS COM Centre Operation (O.2), Use of UAs (O.3) and several other modules, depending on the customer’s needs.
Isode Software Training and Consultancy
Galadrium can provide training and consultancy on all Isode products used in the avitation industry:
- Isode M-Switch, the X.400 MTA
- M-Vault, the X.500 Directory, including EDS
- M-Store X.400, the X.400 P7 Message Store
- Sodium CA, the Certificate Authority
- Isode X.400 Client API, for X.400 client software development
- Isode X.400 Gateway API, for X.400 gateway software development (for example, for an AFTN/AMHS Gateway or an AMHS/SWIM Gateway)
- Configuration of the Isode software for AMHS deployments
- Migration assistance from older versions of Isode software to the newer versions
AMHS Software Conformance Testing
Software written to comply with AMHS standards should be tested according to the EUR AMHS Manual (EUR Doc 020), in particular the Conformance Testing and Interoperability Testing sections, which apply to AMHS Servers, AFTN/AMHS Gateways and also to AMHS User Agents.
Galadrium can provide a AMHS Software Conformance Test service by performing all the tests required in the the EUR AMHS Manual. This can be assisted by the use of the CACTI software (Comprehensive AMHS Conformance Test Interface).
CACTI can significantly simplifly the process of creating, submitting and delivering all the numerous tests that need to be performed.
The software tested can be thrid-party AMHS systems, or the customer’s system connected to the Galadrium AMHS software.
At the end of the AMHS Conformance Testing session, a report will be provided, detailing all the tests performed and their results.
